However, Tesla is breaking the mold. There's no doubt that the Porsche 911 is one of the sexiest cars out there and has been for ages. It is the epitome of luxury, speed, and style and is the favorite of many Hollywood stars.

After comparing the Cybertruck with the Rivian R1TF-150, and GMC Hummer EV, stick around as now we are going to explore the Tesla Cybertruck vs. Porsche. Perhaps a more apt comparison would be Tesla Cybertruck vs Model S but we will save that for a future post.

Tesla Cybertruck Specifications

Cybertruck vs. Porsche

The Tesla Cybertruck is an all-electric pickup truck that made its first debut on November 21, 2019, at an event hosted by Tesla at its Hawthorn Design Center in Los Angeles. This new model is a fully electric truck built by Tesla Motors, which means it runs solely on batteries.

It can go 0-60 mph in less than 3 seconds and has a battery range of over 500 miles per charge. It is a six-wheel drive, all-turbo-diesel-electric truck with a semi-autonomous driving option. It is powered by a four-motor electric powertrain and two electric induction motors that provide 800 horsepower and 1,500 foot pounds of torque. The electric vehicle has a range of just over 220 miles on a single charge.

The Tesla Cybertruck is a fusion of knowledge and expertise gained from four vehicles: the Tesla Model S, Tesla Model X, Tesla Model 3, and Tesla Model Y. Unlike the Model X before it, the Tesla Cybertruck can definitely be considered a truck because its gross weight is over 6,000 pounds.

The Tesla Cybertruck also comes with a cabin that can fit up to five people or their luggage if you want to take them on your next adventure! Here's a quick rundown of the Cybertruck specifications.

Porsche 911 specifications

Cybertruck vs. Porsche

The Porsche 911 is a super-fast and super-expensive car. The 911 is Porsche's best-selling model, with more than 998,000 vehicles sold. It's a symbol of German engineering and is a benchmark for every other car.

It's an iconic sports car that's been in production for six generations since 1963. Its twin-turbo 3.6 liter(or 3.8 liter) six-cylinder boxer engine provides the power, which is either sent to the rear wheels or all four wheels, depending on the model. It can reach 0-60 mph in just 3.9 seconds, making it one of the fastest and most recognized cars on the market today.

The Porsche 911 also features many other notable features, such as its high-performance tires, most advanced four-wheel steering system, and suspension, which allows it to drive like an expensive sports car or luxury sedan without sacrificing speed or comfortability.

Exoskeleton: Cybertruck vs Porsche

The lightweight body of the Porsche 911 is fabricated with different combinations of carbon fiber, premium quality steel, aluminum, and magnesium. While the Tesla Cybertruck shares a stainless steel body similar to the Space X Starship spacecraft.

The 304 stainless steel alloy used in the Space X Starship spacecraft is known for its strength. However, later on, Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted that some parts of the starship would instead be made out of 304L steel.

Interior: Cybertruck vs. Porsche

The 911's interior is designed to be driven and takes its direction from the driver's perspective. The controls are positioned perfectly, and the build quality is excellent. The entry-level model comes with features like dual-zone automatic climate control, front and rear parking sensors, and two seven-inch TFT displays.

On the other hand, the Tesla Cybertruck comes with a plain faux marble-like dashboard, i.e., a yoke steering wheel along with the tablet interface, which fully reflects the Tesla design aesthetic. Its dashboard is fabricated from compressed paper to make it more sustainable and environmentally friendly.

Cybertruck vs. Porsche: Which is faster in 0-60?

With 800 horsepower, the Tesla Cybertruck reaches 0-60 in 2.9 seconds, while with a horsepower of 450, the Porsche 911 takes 3.9 seconds to get from 0 to 60 miles per hour.

Here's a URL of a short clip that Elon Musk presented at one of the auto shows.

However, the Cybertruck is a more powerful vehicle as it can tow up to 14,000 pounds. It'll be interesting to see how it competes against other trucks in the market. We have seen it put the Ford F-150 to shame while dragging it uphill.

Tesla Cybertruck vs. Porsche 911 Price Comparison

The Porsche 911 is a high-end luxury car with a starting price of $100,000 and can go all the way up to $250,000. In contrast, the Tesla Cybertruck is a more budget-friendly option, ranging from $50,000 to $70,000-80,000, depending on the trim you choose.

Tesla's Cybertruck is only available for pre-order and won't be released until sometime in 2023 hopefully, while the 911 can be acquired from any registered Porsche seller.

If you are tired of waiting for your Cybertruck to arrive, you can get your hands on a  Cyberbackpack instead which is available now. It's not quite a Cybertruck but it is much more than a simple backpack. For one, it charges your devices with its included Cybertruck accessory Cyberpowerbank.

Conclusion

We hope you enjoyed this comparison blog and learned a thing or two about the Tesla Cybertruck and Porsche 911! Both automobiles are best in class in their categories. However, only the Tesla Cybertruck has a backpack designed after it called the Cyberbackpack.
