It is reasonable to assume that getting posted on TMZ is now the standard by which we assess celebrity status in today's culture. As a result, the Cybertruck has become a veritable celebrity, with people clamoring to catch a sight of the Brutalist style pickup truck as it drives through the streets of Los Angeles, New York, and most recently Austin TX at the Cyber Rodeo.
A while back, Tesla CEO Elon Musk and his crew took the Cybertruck out for a night on the town in Los Angeles In these days where everyone has a smartphone on hand ready to snap one for the gram, our ever-present selfie culture state of mind assures that a Cybertruck expedition will not go without someone snapping a photo or video of the event and publishing it online.

With over 1,200,000 pre-orders thus far, there is no doubt about the Cybertruck's enormous popularity and curiosity, giving Youtube celebrity status to the lucky few who have been able to record a video of the Cybertruck in person.
This particular sightings began when a Youtuber by the name of Roberto Cruz posted a video of a Cybertruck driving along the 405 freeway going north near the Getty Center.
The Cybertruck was then later spotted at NOBU in Malibu. If you reside in Los Angeles, you will know that to go to Malibu from Beverly Hills (where Elon Musk is rumored to live), you must take the 405 North and then exit Sunset Blvd. West and take that until you reach the beach.
I'm not sure if Cruz realized at the moment that it was being driven by Elon Musk but nevertheless, he was quite impressed. The significance of this video cannot be overstated because the Cybertruck was being driven by its creator, Elon Musk.
It's the same as finding Steve Jobs out and about using an iPhone before it's released. It's actually that epic, which is why Cruz's video gained almost a million views in less than 48 hours, making it one of his most popular videos to date.
It would have taken Elon Musk and team roughly 20-25 minutes to travel to Nobu in Malibu without traffic at the time of night when Roberto Cruz observed the Cybertruck on the 405 Freeway. However, any LA local knows that LA traffic is an entirely different beast.
According to the photographs above, Elon met with Oscar nominee and Hollywood star Edward Norton at NOBU. It's anyone's guess what they spoke about during dinner, but I'm hoping they talked about placing the Cybertruck in one of Edward Norton's movies. Afterwards, Elon and his crew piled into the Cybertruck and drove out into the night to unknown places.
Just another night in LaLaLand!
