Tesla's highly anticipated electric pickup truck, the Cyber Truck, has certainly garnered a lot of attention – both for its futuristic design and for the controversial launch by CEO Elon Musk. Tesla has already received more than 3 million pre-orders for the truck, but production has been delayed several times. However, recent assurances from Musk suggest that it might finally be ready soon. Here are the Top 10 Best Features of the New Tesla Cybertruck 2022.

1. Your Cybertruck, your color

Elon Musk knows how to please the Tesla fans. Every customer will be allowed to vinyl wrap their cyber trucks, a move that both increases the vehicle's color and pattern possibilities and, at the same time, decreases the environmental impacts associated with vehicle paint.

This design feature is also implemented in the Cyberbackpack which comes in one standard color and allows for the hardshell to be wrapped in any color of your choosing.

2. Military-grade exoskeleton design

The Cybertruck exoskeleton is tough to design. The durable stainless steel shell on the cyber truck alleviates dents, damage, and corrosion. The American electric automotive company says the exoskeleton is made of ultra-hard 30x rolled stainless steel. Tesla says that if there was something better than this, he would have used it.

3. Elegant Interior

Cyber trucks are designed with both exterior and interior futuristic elements that are inspired by sci-fi space movies. The cabin seats six people and has a steering wheel that is similar to the butterfly yoke design found in Tesla's Model S and Model X cars. The dash is also minimalist, but with a marble effect instead of a traditional design.

4. Battery of the Future

Tesla is set to include the new 4680 battery cells in the Cybertruck. According to Tesla CEO Elon Musk, the delay in the truck's production is partially due to the automaker's inability to produce enough cells cost-effectively. Tesla promises that Cybertruck's spiral design will offer 16% more range and 6x the power of its existing battery cells.

This was the inspiration behind building and adding a 4000mAh Cyberpowerbank to help power the Cyberbackpack for charging your devices.

5. The world's first tri-motor electric vehicle

The Tesla Cyber Truck comes with an all-wheel drive or all-wheel drive with a tri-motor option, making it the only EV on the market with three motors. This gives the Cyber Truck unparalleled power and performance. However, other manufacturers like Nissan are starting to produce EVs with dual motors.

6. Extremely long driving range

The Tesla Cybertruck's extended range is one of its best features. With a better battery cell and triple motors, the Cybertruck has a projected range of over 500 miles. This is a significant increase over the longest-range Model S sedan currently available.

7. Sweet Dreams in a Sweet Bed

Tesla's new electric pickup truck has some pretty sweet features. For example, when you open the tailgate, you will find a slide-out loading ramp that allows for easy loading of wheeled items into the bed. Lastly, making the whole thing much cooler, the entire bed can be secured by an integrated roll-up garage door style tonneau cover, which is also said to help aerodynamic efficiency.

8. Significant Carrying Capability

Towing capacity is an important measurement for any truck. The Tesla EV truck has a towing capacity of 7,500 pounds for the single-motor, rear-wheel drive base model. The upgraded tri-motor version has a towing capacity of 14,000 pounds.

9. Performance

The Tesla cyber truck is designed for trucking, and it excels in that area. But what about performance? The numbers are good in that department too. Tesla claims:

  • A single motor will go from 0 to 60 in 6.5 seconds.
  • The Dual Motor will go from 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds.
  • The Tri-Motor will go from 0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds.

10. Fair prices

Elon Musk comments on the price of the Tesla Cybertruck. The initial base model costs around $39,900, and it can go up to $69,900.

Tesla has recently introduced a beta version of its full self-driving capabilities to Cybertruck customers. For an additional ten thousand dollars, customers can add the FSD feature. The majority of pre-orders are choosing the dual motor and tri-motor versions, but only an estimated 17% of pre-orders are for the single motor model.
