Pat Carver, an extremely brilliant Tesla enthusiast, created a genuinely excellent AR (Augmented Reality) smartphone program called AR Cybertruck that can augment a 1:1 depiction of a Tesla Cybertruck into any location, which you can get here. When you download, install, and open the app, it will ask for permission to use your camera. After you provide access to the app, it will begin downloading your Cybertruck 3D model.

Yes, you read that correctly: you can now take the Tesla Cybertruck home - virtually. I brought the Cybertruck home and it ended up in my dining room. You, too, are capable.

After downloading your Cybertruck, the app will tell you to move about and scan your surroundings. When the ground is recognized, you may position your Cybertruck in that area by tapping on the screen. Make sure there is adequate light in the space as well for the best outcomes.

To provide some perspective, let's go back to November 21st, the night Tesla Motors and CEO Elon Musk introduced the Tesla Cybertruck to the world. The Tesla all-electric pickup truck polarized everyone who saw it in the media or was lucky enough to be invited to the reveal ceremony almost immediately.

You either loved it so much that you immediately placed your $100 deposit to reserve your spot in line alongside over 1,200,000 other people, or you were so filled with hatred for the extremely brash design devoid of any curves that you couldn't help but drag Tesla CEO Elon Musk and the Tesla Cybertruck online with the rest of Twitter.

I, on the other hand, was deeply inspired from the moment I laid eyes on the Cybertruck at the unveiling event in Hawthorne, so much so that I created the Cyberbackpack 2 years later.

On December 6th, a Tesla devotee named Tesla Raj posted a video of himself checking out the AR Cybertruck in his garage. Tesla Raj's garage is now the normal 20 × 20 garage found in the majority of US households. When Raj attempted to remotely park his Tesla Cybertruck in his garage, he discovered a major issue: It Doesn't Fit. The AR Cybertruck software used his phone's camera to superimpose a 1:1 image of the Cybertruck into the space in his garage, and when he got around to the rear of his virtual Cybertruck, he soon found it was nearly a foot too long.

Raj detailed his results in the video above, exhausted every every opportunity to get an extra inch in his garage. Raj, who already owns a Model 3, stated that he had no problem parking both his Tesla Model 3 and his wife's second car in the garage. This is due to the fact that the average US garage can easily accommodate cars such as the Tesla Model S, Model X, or Model 3. In my 20 × 20 garage, I can accommodate three Teslas: two Model S and one Model X. You have to see it to believe it, and I've attached photos to prove it.

The Tesla Cybertruck is, without a doubt, a very big curve-free vehicle, which has both advantages and downsides. For starters, unless you have one of those rich people's garages that can hold a boat, it won't fit in your normal garage. Fortunately, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has confirmed that a smaller Cybertruck, possibly similar in size to the Ford Ranger, is the right way to go for the Cybertruck.

But for the time being, what you see – practically – is what you get. Even a smaller Cybertruck will be difficult to squeeze into the ordinary garage, but it will offer us some breathing room...literally. Either way, I am holding on to my two Cybertruck reservations and will take what I can get.
