Chrysler chose CES 2022 to fully reveal the Airflow concept EV after releasing a teaser a few weeks before the event. The car is a crossover that the company promises will deliver up to 400 miles on a single charge of its battery. It uses two electric motors that produce 201 hp and will seat four comfortably.

The Airflow also has Level 3 autonomous driving capability, known as STLA Autodrive.

The car looks great and ready for production, but Chrysler has to first decide whether it wants to sell the Airflow or not.

After lots of teasing, GM has finally unveiled the Chevrolet Silverado EV, the electric version of the popular ICE Chevy Silverado. It will produce up to 664 hp and more than 780 lb-ft of torque. Acceleration from 0 to 60 mph takes less than 4.5 seconds.

GM says the electric Silverado will get a range of more than 400 miles based on its Ultium batteries and platform. Prices start at $39,900 and will be available beginning in 2023.

You have probably never heard of Togg before, but that is ok because it is a company founded in Turkey in 2018, with the Turkish government a part-owner. The company claims the concept EV is designed to "bring together advanced electric, autonomous and connected technologies within one design sphere."

The concept Sedan was designed in collaboration with Italian Pininfarina and looks stylish both inside and outside.

While you might never be able to buy this concept electric vehicle, Togg has a C-segment saloon and hatchback to interest you in.

Mercedes-Benz EQXX

We have always come to expect great cars from Mercedes. However, you can't help being impressed with the German automaker's EQXX concept at CES 2022. It has sleek, sporty looks paired with an extra-long range of 648 miles.

Other goodies include solar charging that will net you up to 25 km a day under the right conditions, aerodynamic shape, and a massive 47.5-inch screen inside.

While this car may never make it onto the roads, Mercedes has said it will form the basis for several production cars.

BMW's Flow Concept SUV

The last car on this list is here because of its ability to change color. It can go from black to gray to white at the touch of a button. The color change is enabled by specially made panels that are plastered on the car's body. These panels are similar to the screen on e-readers.

BMW says this ability to change colors can make the car more fuel-efficient and comfortable. However much like e-readers, it can only go from black to white and vise versa. But that is a 100% improvement on the car paint status quo. I hope this feature comes to a production car in the near future.
