The Cybertruck range and specs

The Cybertruck will go up to 500 miles on a single charge, continuing Tesla's legacy of giving great ranges. Because of its bi-directional charging capability, you will be able to use the truck's battery to power equipment or offer electricity in isolated areas such as camping sites.

The Cybertruck will come in three variations, the single, dual, and tri-electric motor. Tesla, a business concerned with speed, boasts the Cybertruck can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds, which is unprecedented for pickup trucks. The top trim can pull up to 14,000 pounds behind it.

Pricing of the Cybertruck starts at $39,900, and you can place an order on Tesla’s website with a refundable fee of $100. The pickup truck's production was originally scheduled for late 2021, but it looks like it has been pushed back to 2023 as Tesla works to prepare the plant where it will be manufactured and ensure a stable supply of batteries.

Rivian's R1T, Ford's F-150 Lightning, GM's Silverado EV, and others are also working on pickup trucks.
