Whoa, hold on, and who exactly is Zeekr?" you might be asking yourself. Brace yourselves, guys, because this Chinese electric vehicle brand is poised to make a splash all over the world!
Zeekr was recently valued at a staggering $13 billion, following an investment of $750 million from Chinese battery giant CATL and other parties. As a result of this valuation, Zeekr is now worth more on paper than Xpeng. You did read that sentence correctly!

Geely launched the brand in 2021, and they have already sold more than 80,000 of its Zeekr 001 coupes. The price of the vehicle ranges from $43,915 to $52,455, depending on the trim level. In addition, the Zeekr 009 multi-purpose vehicle, which is both stylish and roomy, was released onto the market in the month of January, further showcasing the brand's capacity to produce high-quality and forward-thinking products.
But wait, it gets even better. Zeekr has ambitious aspirations for its most recent funding round, including the goal of further developing its technology and breaking into the
European market this year. Who is standing behind them to support them? Only a handful of state-affiliated funds and Mobileye's co-founder and CEO, Amnon Shashua. Mobileye is a global leader in autonomous driving technology. Is it really such a huge deal?
Even while Nio and Li Auto may have a higher market value, given Geely's track record of purchasing and repositioning well-known automobile companies like Volvo, we wouldn't be surprised if Zeekr turns out to be the next great thing in the electric vehicle industry to emerge from China. I will make sure to watch out for this up-and-coming performer so that you won't have to!
