The potential for storage space in a daypack varies depending on your intended use and choosing the proper daypack size can vary from person to person. When looking for a new daypack, you should be considering what you have to carry throughout the day on your average day out and about.
Think about what you will need to carry with you while we break down the different sizes of daypacks to help you decide what size is best for your needs!
10 Liters or Less
This size is good for bringing the bare essentials - keys, some snacks, and your wallet. When thinking of this size of a daypack, you should liken it to a small handbag!
11 Liters to 20 Liters
When thinking about purchasing a daypack of this size, you should be prepared to only be able to bring a few snacks, your wallet, a water bottle, and an extra pair of clothes. There is definitely no way a laptop is fitting in this size daypack!
21 to 35 Liters
This size of daypack is able to fit a fair bit more, but there is still no way that you will be able to fit a laptop in this size of backpack. You could, however, fit quite a bit more in this size. Including a book and extra, more sizable meals.
36 to 50 Liters
Larger daypacks in this size range could fit a laptop! As well, you can fit quite a bit of safety and sustenance gear that you might need to bring with you.
When looking for a new daypack, you might want to consider something that is expandable, like the Cyberbackpack. The Cyberbackpack is expandable and can easily fit a laptop but is extremely lightweight. In this way, size really doesn’t matter much!
